Business Planning Tips For Salt Lake City

Our coaching question in Sandy today is about LifeVantage business. This will be good info for our Independent Distributors for LifeVantage and anyone in a network marketing business. Our answer today includes insight from coach Tyler Daniels.

QUESTION: Are There Any Guidelines As To What We Can And What We Should Not Say About Protandim? Also, How Does The Company Enforce Such A Policy?

ANSWER: An outline for what should and should not be said about our products, especially Protandim, is stated in the LifeVantage Policies and Procedures Section 8.3.2 – Product Claims, which states (in part):

“No claims, which include personal testimonials, as to therapeutic, curative or beneficial properties of any products offered by LifeVantage may be made except those contained in official LifeVantage materials. In particular, no Independent Distributor may make any claim that LifeVantage products are useful in the cure, treatment, diagnosis, mitigation or prevention of any diseases or signs or symptoms of disease.

Not only are such claims violations of LifeVantage policies, but they potentially violate applicable laws, including, but not limited to, federal and state laws and regulations, such as the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and Federal Trade Commission Act . . .” Utilizing a third party service provider that conducts daily searches of online content, including distributor websites and social media, Compliance removes inappropriate posts and takes action against violators daily. However, the world of social media, including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, twitter, etc. is growing quickly and the task is enormous.

So, we would like to ask each of you to help. If you have posted a testimonial or other reference to Protandim and a disease, please take it down immediately. If you become aware of any questionable material, or know of someone that has posted anything questionable, please talk to them and have them remove it.

When necessary, please report any such violations to the LifeVantage Compliance Department at, subject: Product Claims.
